Hello and Welcome!

My name is Patricia Blomgren and I’ve been a spinner and weave for 40 years and teaching for more than 38 years. I have taught at various Sheep & Wool Festivals, area farms and studios, and at the Putney School, as well as in my home. I am a Women’s Studies & Fine Arts Major from Mount Holyoke. As an older returning student, I took with me my life experiences and returned with new enlightenment.

In 2010, I became a Certified Weaving Circle Leader created and taught by Susan Merrill of Maine. I took a one-day workshop with Susan, creating an amulet weaving in my intentions. So moved by this experience, I decided to go through the training process so that I, too, could share this life-changing wisdom with others. 

After a long sabbatical of dealing with grief, I am ready to share again this life affirming process, as I too move into yet another phase of my life… ever changing. 

When I'm not at work, I really love to watch hockey and college football games. When the weather is nice, I take my dogs for hikes, indulging in my passion for nature photography. 

I love rainy days because my spouse makes hot chocolate and we watch TV in bed all day. Even though I live on the West Coast now, New England is one of the best places to visit.
